About Iris
Iris Zietlow is an actress and singer based in Los Angeles, and a proud graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television. Raised in Inland California, Iris grew up in a community that valued arts education and in a supportive family that enrolled her in singing, theater, and dance classes from the age of five. Those early experiences nurtured her love for performing long before deciding to pursue a professional career in the arts.
Over the years, she has built a dedicated performing career, with stage credits including ShowSearch: FNAM, Something Rotten, Into the Woods, Pippin, and Pericles. Iris has been recognized with the Inland Valley Theater League Award and was selected as a finalist for both the Macy’s Award and the Lucy Arnaz Award for musical theater. At UCLA, she received the Hollywood Foreign Press Acting Fellowship Award.
In addition to her theatrical work, Iris is a trained musician who has performed at local restaurants, county fairs, and performing arts centers. Her vocal training spans operetta, country, and contemporary musical theater, and she also plays piano, guitar, and flute. She earned the title of Female Entertainer of the Year from the West Coast Country Music Association and was also named the Miss California National American Miss Talent winner.
Whether performing on stage or working in front of the camera, Iris is guided by a simple, unwavering passion for storytelling.
